Exploring Games in Transactional Analysis: Understanding and Transforming Interpersonal Dynamic
Games are socially dysfunctional behavioral patterns that individuals use to take care of their psychological needs in an
indirect way. This workshop is meant to help you recognize and understand the Game dynamics and find ways to stay out of it.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES – PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

• Define and describe a Game
• Drama Triangle
• Recognizing common games in personal and professional
relationships
• Analyzing the underlying dynamics
• Case studies and role-plays
• Breaking the cycle of unproductive games
• Building healthier communication patterns
Dr. Jessica D’Andrea is a Clinical Psychologist and Faculty Member at the Southeast Institute for Group and Family Therapy, where she provides teaching and training in psychotherapy for professionals, and also clinical assessments, and individual, couples and family therapy for clients.
Dr. D’Andrea specializes in Neuropsychology and Psychotherapy, she is a Certified Transactional Analyst (Psychotherapy), Certified Redecision Therapist, Certified Personality Focused Therapy (PFT) ® – Practitioner and Instructor, Certified Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy (TRET) Practitioner, Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT) trainee, with experience both abroad and in the United States.
Her more than 10 years of clinical and teaching experience includes extensive knowledge of ethical regulations, evidence-based psychological and neuropsychological diagnostic assessments, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of disorders including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and trauma in adolescents and adults through individual, couples, family and group therapy.
